A professional training session for cities on LEDs in urban lighting in Dubrovnik will be organised by LUCI on 23 – 24 May 2016.
Organised within the framework of the SSL-erate project, the session aims to enhance cities’ awareness and knowledge on the use of LEDs in urban lighting.
It will present the key findings so far from the project, focusing on the development of quality SSL lighting in Europe from some of the best specialists in this area and give an update on what other cities in Europe have been delivering in terms of LED lighting strategy.
– learn about the state of the art information on SSL technology in an urban context
– go into detail with examples from front-running European city strategies
– exchange about the issues and challenges in their cities with SSL-erate project experts
– learn about the urban lighting strategy in Dubrovnik and visit its lighting installations
The training session will be simultaneously interpreted from English to Croatian.
